Missing People

We are investigating several open missing person cases. Often a small tip could help bring a cases to a close. If you have any information that could help us solve one of these cases contact us or Crime Stoppers. 

 

 Deoclides (Deo) Santos

 

Photo of missing person, Deo SantosDeoclides (Deo) Santos left his residence at 7 p.m. on November 27, 2003 to meet an unknown person. He has not been heard from since. Santos' vehicle was found parked in a business lot on Victoria St. North, Kitchener.

Anyone having knowledge of Mr. Santos' whereabouts is asked to contact Waterloo Regional Police Service or Crime Stoppers. 

Mr. Santos, born September 3, 1941, is 5'6", 170 lbs, with pepper hair, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a burgundy jacket, yellow/green checkered shirt, dark green pants and brown safety boots.

 

 Clifford Scruton

 

Photo of missing person, Clifford ScrutonClifford SCRUTON, born July 19, 1955, was known to frequent the downtown area of Kitchener and was of no fixed address. He was last seen on July 30, 2003, attending the Kitchener downtown medical centre. He is described as male, white, 5'2", 117 lbs, grey/black hair and beard and hazel eyes.

David MacDermott

Photo of missing person, David MacDermottDavid MacDermott, 30 years, was last seen at his residence on Mill Street, Kitchener in the late evening of Saturday November 9, 2002. Mr. MacDermott was to play in an organized ball hockey game the following Sunday morning but never showed up. Mr. MacDermott is described as 6'1", 186 lbs., with brown hair, and brown eyes and a tattoo of a small ladybug between his shoulder blades. He is known to have frequented bars in Kitchener and Waterloo.

 

Gregory Porter

Gregory Porter, born April 24 1959, was last seen on October 5, 1984 when he was honourably discharged from the army at C.F.B. Wainwright in Alberta. Porter had told people that he was going to British Columbia to drive a taxi. He was in good health both physically and mentally. The initial investigation revealed that PORTER cashed a bank draft for $2400 on October 9, 1984 at a Royal Bank in Edmonton Alberta on October 9, 1984.Gregory PORTER grew up in Wiarton, Ontario.

 

 Karel Szabo

Photo of missing person, Karel SzaboKarel Szabo, born May 4, 1953, immigrated to Canada from Czechoslovakia in 1984. He lived    in Kitchener for a short time and then is believed to have left for Barrie, Ontario in November 1984. He was not heard from again until he sent a letter from Los Angeles to his mother in Czechoslovakia in March 1985. Karel indicated that he was in San Francisco and Las       
Vegas. Karel worked as a crane operator, auto mechanic and truck driver. Mr. Szabo also used    the names Charles and Charlie.

Szabo is described as white, 6' 1", 174 lbs, brown hair and brown eyes.

 Tihomir (Tim) Maletic

On January 24, 1983, Tim Maletic left his family home located in Kitchener and has not been seen since. He told his family he was going to Toronto. However, on February 1, 1983, Tim's wallet was mailed home from Detroit, Michigan.

Maletic, born in 1966, is described as white, 5' 7.5" tall, 150 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes.

 

Lance Kunderman

Photo of missing person, Lance KundermanIn 1982 Lance was travelling through North America with Eric Clapton's band. He was last seen on December 26, 1982, in Vancouver, British Columbia and was heading to Los Angeles. 

Mr. Kunderman is described as white, 5' 7.5" tall, 124 lbs, with red hair and blue eyes.

 Timothy Villemarie

Photo of missing person, Timmy VillemaireTimmy VILLEMAIRE, born August 1, 1979, was last seen by his family in the Cambridge area sometime in 2002. At the time of his disappearance, he was showing signs that he may have been suffering from schizophrenia.


Villmarie is described as white, 5' 8" tall, 161 lbs, brown hair, and brown eyes.

John McNichol

Photo of missing person, John McNicholJohn McNichol was reported missing by his family in January 1978.  On Friday, January 6, 1978 John Douglas McNichol left for work and has not been seen since. McNichol left a note saying goodbye. He was in financial difficulty and under extreme stress. McNichol was the owner of a local bakery. He is described as 5'8", 190 lbs, brown hair and brown eyes.


Special Identifier: 

Mr. McNichol sustained a football injury that caused a break to the knuckle of the ring finger of his left hand.
